  1. Fix the chat system so that changing experts doesn't break chat, or add functionality to switch back into chat mode from Q&A mode.

    In many categories, using the live chat system is essential to providing a rapid resolution to the customer's problem. When the conversation drops to Q&A either through a bug, an expert opting out, an overzealous IR by another expert, etc... it totally disrupts the customer experience and can turn a resolution that may take less than an hour into a multi-day ordeal for both the customer and the expert. Furthermore, when an expert opts out of a question that is already in chat, other experts may be less inclined to pick the question up knowing they are now stuck in…

  2. Send an email notice to experts when a refund has been requested for a question they answered

    And if the question has been closed, reopen it so that we have the same option as being rated poorly. True, 99% of those customers just wanted the free help anyway, but there's that 1% that might be converted back.

  4. Improve this link functionality (http://screencast.com/t/kjfZmUVU)

    Since this link (http://screencast.com/t/kjfZmUVU) is not much useful to the Experts/Professional, I would like to work a little bit on that.
    I suggest to do a survey to the Experts/Professionals and ask them, what is the most popular copy they always type in their answers.

    Also, we can let our Experts/Professionals customize this link per category.

  5. stop blocking exe and zip files

    You currently block us from giving customers links with exe or zip files. We are experts and you have to trust our recommendations. Instead we are forced to either give a link to another page where the customer has to find the right link to click or use a 3rd party site to change the exe to a tinyurl or similar.

  6. Add remote desktop feature like logmein.com so we can just fix it ourselves if user allows

    Maybe you could partner with logmein or similar service. Sure, it would have to come with major limitations for security (and liability) reasons, but I think the customers would really find value in it.

  7. Put viewing feedback to the way it used to be

    We used to be able to view our feedback in a category and see which questions they correspond to. Now we just see the feedback and have no idea what the question was.

  8. Justanswer should not allow the customer to ACCEPT if the expert opts out

    If the expert opts out, due to lack of time, info or other reasons....the customer sometimes ACCEPTS....and this leaves customers paying for nothing, leaving negative feedback.....so it's bad for the customer, expert and JA!

  9. Add a prompt for customers to enter their name

    Few customers volunteer their name when asking their question. I think customers should be asked to enter their name when asking a question so that communicating the answer can be made more personal. This would help customers realize they are receiving an individual, tailored answer to their question and make the experience more personal and valuable for them.

  10. Online Chat session ability for every session!!

    I have found that the availabity of this feature really gets to the heart of the questions and promotes better answers and subsequently more money for everybody. I have a 100% accept return on those sessions and a 33% return on Q & A sessions. Thats alot of potential for immediate income generation that can be implemented easily and feel it would better the site overall and make for a happier more committed expert community and better client satisfaction period...

  11. Show PROPER ICON for QUESTIONS whose CUSTOMERS who are ONLINE and CAN BE IN CHAT

    Hi Friends,
    I have been a heavy user of JA chat service since it has been made available.. I see that working in a LIVE chat session would help resolve customer problems very quickly and eventually result in MORE ACCEPTS and so good earnings.

    Current I see CHAT icon beside a question, but when i OPEN THE QUESTION in the chat i SEE 50% cases CUSTOMER WOULD BE OFFLINE.. I feel it would be good if we SHOW proper ICON beside question when CUSTOMER IS REALLY WAITING and is LIKELY to JOIN in CHAT immediately.. It would be great if…

  12. Allow Experts from other Q&A sites to join JA

    Currently JA prevents experts from working on other Q&A or online paid chat sites. I know many experts here need that extra income and work on multiple sites. But per JA policies experts will no longer be allowed to do that. Since many new Q&A sites are coming up, such policies will mean that JA will cease to be competitive as experts may choose sites without such policies. JA please consider allowing experts to work on other sites as well.

  13. For Subscription users, the underpriced Report doesn't have suggested price put in by expert

    For Subscription users, the underpriced Report doesn't have suggested price put in by expert. The email that they get, only suggests that customer may add bonus but doesn't say have any comments put in by expert. So customer may add a bonus of even $1 for a question whereas expert was expecting a bonus of say $20. Will be better if the experts comments are sent in underpriced report for subscription customers too, as underpriced is the only tool by which expert can communicate the suggested price to the customer and that too is not working correctly right now.

  15. Experts able to select which categories they view with particularity

    I have multiple legal category admissions, but I can't view them all without also having to sift through ALL the legal categories. I would be more efficient and more capable of identifying stale questions in my category if I could just select which categories I wanted to simultaneously view.

  16. personal storage space

    Maybe it should be better for every expert to have own personal space storage on your servers to upload files for customers. Maybe something like justanswer.com/expertname and then Experts should upload files there and customers can download. Instead of uploading to wikisend.com or some other webistes that provides free uploading. I think this will be both helpful to Experts and Customers and will definitely save time for other things to do. THank you

  19. Experts locking chats for hours

    Other experts must be able to step in if the expert in the chat keeps posting wrong suggestions and keeps the chat locked for hours until the customer gives up and walks away. There used to be report option for Incorrect Answer which would allow other experts to post the correct answer.

  20. How can we make sure that Opted out Questions get responses/Answers from another Expert?

    We're working on some changes you've asked for with the Opt out Feature (automatic opt out message to the Customer when an Expert opts out and more) and we may do this in conjunction with other enhancements to the opt out feature overall. We'd love to hear your thoughts were around this issue.
