  1. Let's Update An Old Idea--Remove The Rating System

    Remove the the rating system altogether and put Just Answer and the Expert in the position of power and control, rather than the customer.

    Instead of Experts pleading and begging (that's what it feels like) to the customer to rate us, just take away the rating system away altogether.
    We all know how time consuming it is to follow the customer around to remind, suggest, and check in with the customer.
    The customer must pay for using Just Answer Services whether they think they got a 5-star or 2-star answer.

  3. My requests answered question marker

    It would make expert life easier if the unanswered questions were a different color or had some sort of marker It takes a lot of time to go thru and open up all the questions multiple times a week

  4. Hide 'answered' questions on "My Requests" page

    On the "My Requests" page add an option to hide questions marked as answered, currently you can only hide those rated by customers, but with the new payment model there is a need to filter questions which still require an answer but awaiting customer response (not answered).

  5. Create a New Category for Insurance Policy and Claims Questions

    Hello, I am an Expert in Legal. I wanted to make a suggestion for a new category that focuses on people with insurance claims and insurance policy questions. I was not sure who to suggest it to or how to get it reviewed for implementation.
    I am also an insurance professional, and I am positive there are a lot of people that have questions when they have claims. This includes home, renters, life, auto, boat, commercial insurance claims. The criteria for expert should be limited to agents and claims professionals with 5 or more years experience.   8. Engage experts in dialogue instead of using "surveys".

    Instead of using surveys that clutter up the workflow for experts, how about actually engaging in a dialogue with those experts that spend considerable time on the site instead of using generic surveys that probably won't be truly indicative of the environment of a particular category.

  9. Questions are jumping around on screen

    Lately the questions on the list are jumping around it's like playing whack-a-mole trying to lock one in. My old eyes can't stand looking at the list for more than an hour at a time it's ridiculous!
    This was never a problem before.
    Please fix this issue!!!

  11. We Need A SAVE Option

    My electricity goes off here during heavy rains periodically. Every time it does, I lose my entire note I've spent time writing for Just Answer. To be clear, I come back to a blank page and have to start my answer all over again. It's very discouraging and I've lost hours re-writing my replies to customers. It happened 3 times this weekend where I lost the entire note.

  13. category filters, phone calls, customer education on process

    Just wanted to make suggestions on how to handle and educate customers on how the answer process works. It seems most are really misinformed and have the wrong expectations. Need to under promise and over deliver, or most will be very disappointed.

    For starters, most think they can say a few words with hardly any info, and be provided an instant all knowing answer that will solve all their problems without any action from them.
    They should know that the right expert may not be available when they post the question, I see so many people post a question 5…

  15. New Earnings Report Amount Column

    The NEW Earnings Report should be modified in the AMOUNT Column so that the $ Dollar Sign is not present in the Cells? Only the value...

    This would be very helpful when downloading the csv files in order to use in sorting, calculations, etc without transposing...

  16. Questions responded by mods only should not be starred

    Hi,
    There is a tendency for many experts to not answered starred questions as they feel that these are difficult patients, because apparently they have not accepted the answer of a previous expert.
    I have noticed that in many questions with a star (asterisk) marked next to them, it is only the moderator that has responded, and has in fact asked for more time to find an expert.
    Unfortunately since these questions are also marked with a star, the chances of finding and expert actually reduce once a moderator has stepped in.

  17. Why isn’t there a mental health category?

    Why isn’t there a mental health or addictions category(ies)? There is a ton of these questions every hour, for which I am very qualified, but since there is no specific category, there is no way to meet any qualifications. In my prior ja experience, before I was removed from the medical/mental health category, physicians and psychiatrists avoid these questions, and there is a huge opportunity to make money here, for ja and experts like me. We need to create this category right away. Please advise. Thank you

  18. Earnings Report

    I think the earnings report should have 2 more columns, one for question answered yes/no and one for quality grade. This would really help experts that are struggling with their tier levels. Having these two grades for each question individually would show the expert where they are doing well and where they could use improvement in better detail. Being able to review incomplete answers or lower quality grade answers individually would certainly help overall quality and completion rates. As of now experts are flying blind except for the weekly numbers with no way to detail exactly where they need improvement…

  19. Pay experts for every question attempted.

    So, I spend a lot of time answering questions that never respond to me. I think we experts should be paid a flat rate like another suggestion here said but if that's not accepted by JA, I would recommend paying, say, $1-2 for initiating the conversation so we get paid for our time in answering questions, at all, and the full amount when the conversation is complete.

  20. Just answering a question versus clients thinking they are getting therapy or a prescription

    please forward this to whomever would be responsible for this. Thank you.
    Good morning. I’m confused about something. I know our phone disclaimer statement states that there is no professional relationship, but what are we doing with chat clients? Nearly all of them think they are getting therapy on here, for like $15, especially when they request a phone call. I can see why it is confusing to them. If we don’t do crisis services here, and we don’t do therapy, What are we implying they will get here? Nearly all of the clients think they are getting ongoing therapy…
