Re-Structure the new Payment model (VETERINARIANS)
The new tier system and the way in which experts are placed in tiers makes absolutely no sense. It is based on a "computer alogorithm"? Whatever that really means. It seems like it is just a means for Just Answer to pay the experts less. Even if your answers are clear, thought out and empathetic, there is no guarantee you will be placed in platinum. (Which is STILL less than what we were getting paid before, this makes no sense whatesover)- AND THEN, it will change on a weekly basis?!
Experts everywhere are dissatisfied with the new system. "Tiers" are derogetory, remind me of being back in school, and should really not be used on this platform for professionals site-wide.
Just Answer made a mistake moving to this model, and needs to re-structure this before they lose more experts and have increased client dissatisfaction. It is going to happen, it already is happening.
Honestly, If i is between the 2 options, I'd rather go back to the old way and NCR's - at least then I knew what I was getting paid for each question and could anticipate my monthly income. It is not that hard to request an NCR as most people do show gratitude even if they don't rate.
Ideally though, we should be getting paid at the same rate as previously per question, and questions should be paid regardless of client rating and submitting an NCR.

It's not worth my time at $4 a question, and I can tell that other experts are dropping out because there's more questions available... Please, please, please go back to the old payment system!

Agree with below, all categories seem to be in agreement it seems.
@vetdoc, are there other similar sites for doctors, lawyers, etc too or just vets?

I vote going back to the old payment system for attorneys as well! This empathetic "tone" makes no sense. My repeat customers love how I am direct and concise!

In appraisals, everyone seems to be Silver even though we can see a very widely varying quality level. Wondering if it's the same in other categories?

Yep it's terrible. Bugger all chance I'm staying on the site now. Poor pet owners.
Vet is one of their biggest revenue categories - but with less vets there be less answers and less revenue.
JA can get stuffed - I'm off to their competitors who pay me a decent rate.
The tiers are a load of rubbish - all vets are on silver only. Half the pay overnight. Good luck JA! haha -

The new payment model sucks as we are not getting paid on all questions that met the new criteria. JA has lied to us. Promises made should be promises kept!

We must stop working and let the site suffer. Let's create a new platform. We can get better payment and better customer satisfaction. Getting pay 9-11 dollars after 10 years of school makes no sense.

I posted this comment on a similar thread, but it bears sharing here:
I agree. I am a fairly new expert having only joined this year, but even at the pay scale we currently were at, $10 a question for a dog or cat is measly enough, and not having a well-thought-out and explained tier scale that apparently makes it nearly impossible to reach Platinum status to be paid a whopping $11 per question is not worth my time as an expert. If this site would like to continue to have value, I would in turn appreciate being valued by my employers here. As veterinarians we have all gone through extensive schooling, 8 years of arduous study, and the questions here are seldom straightforward or easy to answer, with frequent client and veterinarian back and forth before achieving a true answer. Even then, there are usually many related follow up queries, and it is not uncommon to have to continue responding for a few hours to even over a span of a few days. I feel that our pay scale needs to reflect our value to the community. Perhaps Just Answer needs to require more payment from customers before taking questions, as well as making sure to take a full deposit for that question before sending it to the experts. All these things are easy to do and would benefit both experts as well as the site itself.
