Upload file procedure is cumbersome, cannot be used by customers, often does not work,
Very confusing, requiring too many steps/clicks
Should use the standard papaerclip icon not the 'chain' icon
Often uploaded files cannot be downloaded
9 of 10 customers fail to understand how it works depsite videos and instructions

I would really like the ability to post, at least, images inline. There was a time when we could post YouTube video inline, which was fantastic! But I would settle for being able to post images. It would make it MUCH easier to give customers instructions.

I agree.
For now we use 3rd party sites like, wikisend, or ge.tt
but that is bothersome to customers, and some don't understand it.

I keep losing money because of this. It needs to get fixed now. It also makes the site look very bad.

Just posted below and it is from Walkereng. Not sure why it posted as anonymous. I would really like someone from the site to contact me so I can hear the pros and cons with my suggestion. Thanks, Walkereng

There are constantly problems with customers trying to attach documents to the chat. They get very frustrated and tend to just give up and not want finish their question due to the hassle. That looks bad for the site. Something needs to be done.
Why can't JustAnswer or Pearl assign each expert an e-mail address like (walkereng@pearl.com) so that our customers can just e-mail us items? With my category of questions, I ask for pictures all of the time. Most people will take the pictures with their phone and then how do they get them from the phone to a computer then attach them to the chat window? If we each had a site e-mail address, then they could take pictures on their phone and just e-mail them to the expert they are working with.
I really think the e-mail idea will be an asset to the site because most people do not want to have to set up an account on a third party file sharing site just to send us a couple of pictures, that is a lot of work.
Thanks,
Brad

This is the single largest flaw on the site--the process is cumbersome, confusing and the file size is far too small--and with the advent of smart phones on the rise, there needs to be a way to accomodate those users as well...progress, progress, progress....stay ahead of the technology curve!

I suggest that the engineers investigate the standard and simple uploadig procedure implemented by the vast mahority of file sharing sites such as wikisend.com, 2shared.com, etc
